About the tours
Are the tours private?
Yes. All our tours and itineraries are private: you travel only with your own group.
Where do you pick us up?
We pick you up and drop you off at your hotel or accommodation. Please give us the address when you book. If you need a different location, an additional fee may apply.
Which languages do you guide in?
Portuguese, English, French and Spanish, including the guided visits inside the monuments.
Is there a minimum number of people?
Our tours run for a minimum of 2 adults.
Can we bring children?
Yes. If you need baby car seats, please ask when you book or up to 48 hours before the tour.
Is lunch included?
No. On full-day tours there is a break for lunch. Meals and drinks are paid separately.
What is included in the price?
A professional guide, guided visits inside the monuments, transport in an air-conditioned vehicle, hotel pick-up and drop-off, insurance, Wi-Fi and water on board, fuel, parking and tolls. Tickets for monuments and attractions are not included.
What should we bring?
Comfortable walking shoes, sun protection and a hat. A light jacket is useful on the west coast, where it can be windy.
Can someone with reduced mobility join?
Please tell us about any special condition when you book, so we can adapt the tour where possible.
Can you create a custom tour?
Yes. Tell us what you would like to see and we will plan a private tour around your interests.
Booking and payment
How do I book?
Send us the booking form, an email to info@jp-tours.pt or a WhatsApp message with the tour, date, number of people and your hotel. Every booking is subject to our confirmation.
How much does a tour cost?
The price depends on the tour and the number of people. Send us a request and we will reply with a quote. All prices include VAT.
When do I pay?
The full amount is paid when you book. If payment is not received, the tour will not take place.
What if I need to cancel?
Send your cancellation to info@jp-tours.pt, saying which tour you want to cancel. Refunds depend on how far in advance you cancel: see our General Conditions.
Can we smoke or drink in the vehicle?
No. Smoking and alcoholic drinks are not allowed in the vehicles. We are happy to stop for a break when possible.
